NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given the Taxpayers of Brown County, Indiana that the proper legal officers of the County Council at their regular meeting place, the County Annex Building will at 6:30 P.M. on the 15th day of August, 2011 consider the following additional appropriations in the excess of the budget for the current year. Surveyor: 005.5005 Other Distribution $5,957.09; 000.4001 Computer/Printer $300.00; CUM Bridge: 1135 100.001 North Shore Crossing/Bridge $50,000.00.  Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have the right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF).  The DLGF will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of the funds to support the appropriations made within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of action taken.
