NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given, that Brown County, Indiana, by and through the Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, will receive sealed proposals for the Year 2011 Road Paving Program. Proposals are to be received at the office of the Brown County Auditor, at the County Office Building, 201 North Locust Lane in Nashville, Indiana 47448, prior to 4:00PM on the 6th day of April, 2011. Proposals received will be publicly opened and read at 6:30PM on the 6th day of April, 2011.  Specifications for the work are on file and may be examined and obtained from the office of the Brown County Highway Department, 711 Greasy Creek Road in Nashville, Indiana, during regular business hours.  Contract(s) will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) on the 20th day of April, 2011 at 6:30PM The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept any Proposal and to waive any and all formalities in the bidding. The amount of work to be done may be changed if adequate funds are not available for all of the work. Award of contract(s) will be contingent on reaching agreement on a contract satisfactory to the Commissioners.
