BROWN COUNTY AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on February 23, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Brown County Habitat for Humanity for approval of a variance in the Town of Nashville from the minimum of a 1200 square feet residence to 950 square feet. Legal description of premises: 0.806 acre description: Part of the NW1/4 of the NW1/4 of Section 20, T9N, R3E, Washington Township, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows: Commencing at the SE corner of the NW1/4 of the NW1/4 of said Section 20; thence N88-47-14W (assumed bearing) with the South line of said NW1/4 NW1/4 675.02 feet; thence N00-27-23W 643.31 feet to the point of beginning for the tract herein described; thence continuing N00-27-23W 97.50 feet; thence S89-48-18E 87.00 feet; thence N00-27-23W 27.50 feet; thence S89-48-18E 207.84 feet; thence S01-35-45W 21.80 feet; thence S10-47-15E 103.66 feet; thence S89-55-54W 312.64 feet to the beginning, containing 0.806 acre more or less. Subject to the existing County Road running along the entire West line of the above described 0.806 acre tract. Also, subject to all other legal rights of way and easements of record. The property is located at 851 Eads Lane in Washington Township. The file on this matter is available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the application. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
