INVITATION FOR BIDS

PAYLOADER

The Brown County Commissioners will be accepting bids for a used or left over model pay loader type machine. Specifications may be obtained from the Brown County Highway Department. Bids must be turned in no later than Feb. 2, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. to the office of the Brown County Auditor in Nashville, Indiana. Bids will be opened on Feb. 2 at 6:30 P.M. and will be awarded on Feb. 16 at 6:30 P.M. Bids shall be submitted with the Brown County Non-Collusion Affidavit. A bid bond, certified check or other evidence of financial responsibility equal to 10% of bid price shall accompany each bid. Criteria that will be used in evaluating offers or proposals will include the following: A. Price; B. Quality; C. Delivery method and location; D. Previous performance of Vendor with Brown County; E. Whatsoever is in the best interest of Brown County. This solicitation for bids may be cancelled or any or all offers may be rejected, in whole or in part, if the County Commissioners determine that it is in the best interest of Brown County to do so.
