The Brown County Democrat is preparing its 2010 year-end issue, and readers are invited to help choose their favorite stories and photos from 2010.

To vote for photos, select your top 10-12 favorites from this gallery and include the photo numbers (visible when you click on images to view them individually) in an e-mail and send it to newsroom@bcdemocrat.com, or comment under the photo gallery status update on our Facebook page.

To vote for stories, visit the Marketplace section of the Dec. 22 issue of The Democrat to view the ballot.  The marketplace is available online for download at the bottom of our home page, as well as anywhere The Democrat is sold. Participants can turn in hard-copies of the ballot to our office at 147 E. Main Street in Nashville or send an e-mail with their story selections included to newsroom@bcdemocrat.com.

Top photos and stories will appear in the Wednesday, Dec. 29 edition of The Democrat.
