BROWN COUNTY AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Area Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on December 14, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Jacqueline Watson for approval of an application for a Variance, to wit: Applicant is requesting a variance from the provisions of the sign ordinance. Legal description of premises: Part of the SW1/4 of Section 20, T9N, R3E, Washington Township, Brown County, Indiana described as follows: Commencing at the SW corner of the SW1/4 of said Section 20; thence East bearing from deed) 734.50 feet; thence N06-59-00E 657.50 feet; thence N51-47-00W 332.00 feet; thence N08-27-00W 212.50 feet to the point of beginning; thence Northerly with Parkview County Road 181.40 feet; thence S69-58-18E 134.00 feet; thence N23-44-27E 227.00 feet to the South Right of Way of State Road Number 46; thence Southeasterly with said South Right of Way 289.40 feet to the apparent center of the North Fork of Salt Creek; thence Southerly with said creek 242.60 feet; thence N88-00-00W 370.50 feet to the beginning, containing 2.323 acres more or less. Subject to Parkview County Road. Also, Subject to all other legal rights of way and easements existing or of record affecting said real estate. The property is located at 71 Parkview Road in Washington Township. The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
