NOTICE TO BIDDERS



The Board of Commissioners of Brown County, Indiana will receive sealed bids until 4:00 PM, 8-18, 2010, at the Brown County Auditor’s Office for the “Furnish and Deliver Material Only” Superstructure for Bridge #35, located on Yellow Wood Road, in Brown County, Indiana. Bid documents including specifications are available at the Brown County Highway Department located at 711 Greasy Creek Road, Nashville, IN. The Contractor’s Bid for Public Work – Form 96 including non-collusion affidavit must be completed and submitted by all bidders along with a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The surety on the performance bond cannot be released for one (1) year after satisfactory delivery of material to the site. A retainer in the amount of ten percent (10%) will be reserved by Brown County until final acceptance of the delivered material is complete. The Board of Commissioners of Brown County reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Sealed bids will be opened at the Commissioner’s meeting on 8-18, 2010, at 6:30 PM. Bids are expected to be awarded at the Commissioner’s meeting on 8-18, 2010.
