APPLICANT’S LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SPECIAL EXCEPTION
AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice is hereby given that Lloyd Properties by William C. Lloyd, Petitioner, has filed with the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for variation in the regulations of the Zoning Ordinance, to wit: Legal description of premises: Parcel No. I: Part of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 36, Township 10 North, Range 2 East, Jackson Township, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning at an iron pipe found marking the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of said Section 36; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes West with the South line of said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter 196.2 feet to a rebar found; thence North 00 degrees 20 minutes West 395.3 feet to an iron pipe found; thence North 89 degrees 20 minutes East 198.0 feet to an iron pipe found on the East line of said Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes East with said East line 398.3 feet to the beginning, containing 1.80 acres, more or less. Applicant is requesting a Special Exception for a Private Recreational Development. The property is located at 304 Whippoorwill Lane in Jackson Township. The file on this matter is available for public inspection during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana until two days prior to the hearing date. A public hearing will be held by the Board on July 28, 2010, during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the application. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this application by order of the Area Board of Zoning Appeals. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
