NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Brown County, Nashville, Indiana the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at their regular meeting in the upstairs meeting room at 6:30 P.M. JULY 19, 2010 will consider the following additional appropriations in excess for the budget for the current year.

Additional Appropriations: 

Riverboat Wagering Tax Rev Sharing Fund-   Contractual/ Consulting Service - GUTS Data Compliance $25,000.00.

Highway- Overtime $10,000.00.

New Reassessment- Reassessment/Trending $20,000.00.

Improvement Loan- Repayment of Loan $150,000.00.

Pros Infraction Deferral Fund- Trial Prep $854.00.

User Fee Fund- Cont Ed - IN State Police Training $120.00.

Health Support Clinic Fees- Nurse Practitioner $6,415.00.

CAGIT-Public Safety- Equipment $10,000.00.

Cumulative Bridge- Bridge Inspections-Phase I&II $4,898.40; Bridge #33 Green Valley $30,000.00; Bridge #35 Salt Creek $25,000.00; Bridge #6 Richards Rd $70,000.00.

Drug Abuse Prevention Fund- Other Svc & Charges-(LLC Funds) $11,367.00.

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard.  The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) will make a written determination as to the availability of funds to support the appropriation to be made within (15) days of certified copy to the action taken.  If you have a disability which requires special assistance for your participation in the meeting, please contact Brown County Auditor at 988-5485.
