LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING
BROWN COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that Richard Hartung has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for Rezoning of property, to wit: Legal description of premises: A part of Lot Twenty (20) in Mullaney’s Addition to the Town of Nashville, Brown County, Indiana, same being a part of the South half of the Southwest quarter of Section Eighteen (18), Township Nine (9) North, Range Three (3) East, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a spike found marking the Southeast corner of Lot Number Twenty (20) in Mullaney’s Addition; thence North Eighty-seven (87) degrees, Twenty (20) minutes, Seven (07) seconds East along the North right-of-way of Gardner Avenue for a distance of Two Hundred Ninety-one and Eighty-one Hundredths (291.81) feet to a pipe found marking the point of beginning; thence North Zero (00) degrees, Zero (00) minutes, Zero (00) seconds East for a distance of One Hundred Nineteen and Seventy-one Hundredths (119.71) feet to a rebar found:; thence South Seventy-six (76) degrees, Sixteen (16) minutes, Fourteen (14) seconds East for a distance of One Hundred Fifty-one and Thirty-four Hundredths (151.34) feet to a R.R. spike found in the center of Locust Lane; thence South Twenty-eight (28)  degrees, Fifty-nine (59) minutes, Thirty-five (35) seconds West along the center of said road for a distance of Ninety-one and Seventy-one Hundredths (91.71) feet to a nail found on the North right-of-way of Gardner Avenue; thence South Eighty-eight (88) degrees, Zero (00) minutes, Ten (10) seconds West along said North right-of-way for a distance of One Hundred Two and Sixty-three Hundredths (102.63) feet to the point of beginning, containing Thirty Hundredths (.30) acres, more or less. Commonly known as: 300 N. Locust Ln., Nashville, IN 47448. Applicant is requesting approval for rezoning the described property from Residential (R1) to Secondary Residential (R2). The property is located at 30 Locust Lane in Washington Township.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana. The Commission will hold a public hearing on June 22, 2010 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comment regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
