NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED
ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Brown
County, Nashville, Indiana the proper legal offi
cers of said Municipal Corporation at their
regular meeting in the upstairs meeting room at
6:30 P.M. NOVEMBER 23, 2009 will consider
the following additional appropriations in excess
for the budget for the current year.
Additional Appropriations:
General Fund- Commissioner: Sec Detention
Placement $4,860.00; Group Insurance
$60,000.00; Fire Dept Timber Distribution
$6,000.00.
Riverboat Wagering Tax Rev Fund: Contractual/
Consulting Svc-GUTS Soft Agreement $140.00;
Homestead Credit Rebate $94,857.42.
Jail Lease Rent: Lease Payment $3,000.00.
Health Fund: Group Health Insurance
$10,000.00.
Health-Pandemic H1N1: Clinic Contractual
$17,800.00; Salary Public Health Coordinator
$13,137.28; Social Security $1,005.00; Unemployment
$223.33; Mileage/Travel $100.00;
Supplies $4,231.39.
Highway: Group Health Insurance $12,000.00.
Economic Development Comm Fund: Art Gala
Expenditures $1,000.00; Brown County Hour
Match $1,300.00; Volunteer Network Database
$1,000.00; Mural Seminar / Workshop $500.00;
Main St. Committee $2,200.00.
Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a
right to be heard. The additional appropriation as
fi nally made will be referred to the Department
of Local Government Finance (DLGF) will make
a written determination as to the availability of
funds to support the appropriation to be made
within (15) days of certifi ed copy to the action
