NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given, that Brown County, Indiana, by and through the Board of County Commissioner, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, will receive sealed proposals for the Year 2010 Road Paving Program. Proposals are to be received at the office of the Brown County Auditor, at the County Office Building, 201 North Locust Lane in Nashville, Indiana 47448, prior to 4:00 P.M. on the 19th day of May 2010. Proposals received will be publicly opened and read at 6:30 P.M. on the 19th day of May 2010. Specifications for the work are on file and may be examined at the office of the County Auditor, or at the office of the Brown County Highway Department, 711 Greasy Creek Road in Nashville, Indiana, during the regular business hours. Copies of the Specifications may be obtained at the offices of the Brown County Highway Department. Contract(s) will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) on the 2nd day of June, 2010 at 6:30 P.M. 2010. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or to accept any Proposal and to waive any and all formalities in the bidding. The amount of work to be done may be changed if adequate funds are not available for all of the work. Award of the contract(s) will be contingent on reaching agreement on a contract satisfactory to the Commissioners.
