Notice is hereby given that John Booe has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for a primary approval of a subdivision, to wit: Legal description of premises: Part of the south half of the southeast quarter of section 24, township 9 north, range 3 east of the second principal meridian, Washington Township, Brown County, Indiana described as follows: Commencing at the northwest corner of the south half of the southeast quarter of said section 24; thence south 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds east (bearing from deed) on and along the north line of said south half, southeast quarter 1339.00 feet to Laurie Branch; thence southerly with said branch 830.00 feet more or less to the beginning; thence continuing southerly with said branch 420.00 feet more or less to the intersection of said branch and state road number 46; thence south 64 degrees 27 minutes 00 seconds west with the center of said state road 260.00 feet; thence north 25 degrees 33 minutes 00 seconds west 200.00 feet; thence north 01 degrees 00 minutes 54 seconds east 134.16 feet; thence north 25 degrees 33 minutes 00 seconds west 100.00 feet; thence north 64 degrees 27 minutes 00 seconds east 200.00 feet more or less to the beginning, containing 2.28 acres more or less. Also, the right on ingress and egress for roadway and utilities over the following described easement; beginning in the center of state road number 46 at the southwest corner of the above described 2.28 acre tract; thence south 64 degrees 27 minutes 00 seconds west with the center of said state road 40.00 feet; thence north 25 degrees 33 minutes 00 seconds west 100.00 feet; thence north 64 degrees 27 minutes 00 seconds east 40.00 feet; thence south 25 degrees 33 minutes 00 seconds east 100.00 feet to the beginning, containing in said easement 0.092 acre more or less. Subject to state road number 46. Also, subject to all other legal rights of way and easements existing or of record affecting said real estate.
Applicant is requesting primary approval of Laurie Branch Subdivision, a proposed 4 lot major subdivision in Washington Township. The property is located at the NW corner of the intersection of State Road 46 East and Camp Moneto Road.
The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana. The Commission will hold a public hearing on March 30, 2010 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comment regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
