NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS

Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Brown County, Nashville, Indiana the proper legal officers of said Municipal Corporation at their regular meeting in the upstairs meeting room at 6:30 P.M. MARCH 22, 2010 will consider the following additional appropriations in excess for the budget for the current year.

Additional Appropriations:

County General: Circuit Court Office Machines $6,954.00

Health Support Clinic Administrative Fees $76.50

Foreign Language Interpreter Fund Translation Services $2,000.00

Alternate Dispute Fee Mediation Services $2,500.00

User Fee Fund Cont Ed IN State Police Training $88.00

Economic Development Commission Website $1,800.00, Small Business Incubator $2,000.00, Art Gala Expenditures $691.90, Artists Competition $500.00, Renewable Energy Projects $300.00

Co Misdemeanant Fund Literacy Coalition-GED Program $2,000.00, Vehicle Lease Payment $7,173.11, Equipment $1,629.75

County Option Dog Tax Fund Processing Fee $1,400.00, Animal Control $500.00, Printing & Advertising $3,800.00

Prosecutor Infraction Deferral Social Security $124.00, Medicare $29.00

Prosecutor Incentive Social Security $310.00, Medicare $73.00

Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriation as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) will make a written determination as to the availability of funds to support the appropriation to be made within (15) days of certified copy to the action taken.
