2010 New Construction Assessment
Pursuant to the rules of the Indiana Department of
Local Government Finance and Ind. Code §§ 6-
1.1-4-18.5, the Brown County Assessor is undertaking
a project to assess 2010 New Construction
on various parcels for all property classes (except
annually assessed mobile homes) in Jackson
Township, Hamblen Township, Van Buren Township
and Washington Township, Brown County,
Indiana. Further, this project will include acting
in an advisory capacity to the County Assessor
and the Brown County Property Tax Assessment
Board Of Appeals. Complete bid specifications
are available for examination at the Brown County
Assessor’s Office, 201 Locust Lane, Nashville,
Indiana 47448. Deadline for submission is Tuesday,
February 16, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. Bids will be
opened at the meeting of the Brown County Commissioners
on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at
6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Brown
County Office Building, 201 Locust Lane, Nashville,
IN 47448.
