Ronni S. Smith, 74, Columbus

Ronni S. Smith, 74, Columbus, died at 9:55 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

A celebration of Ronni's life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, 1029 Washington St., Columbus, with the Rev. A.D. Hendershot officiating. There will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Born in Columbus Dec. 16, 1939, Ronni was daughter of Morris and Ethel Payne Cooper.
She was formerly employed in sterile processing at Columbus Regional Hospital.

She is survived by her children, April Bonomo of Rockville, Marty Smith of Columbus, and Lori Burton; a sister, Kris (Darrel) Hendershot of Columbus; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other family members of Brown County.

She was preceded in death by her father, Morris Cooper; her mother, Ethel Cooper West; a daughter, Lisa Smith; and her former husband, Dale Smith.
