Linda M. Copper, 71, Bloomington

Linda M. Copper, 71, Bloomington, died unexpectedly Monday morning, Feb. 17, 2014 at her residence.

Linda was born Sept. 23, 1942, in Jamestown, N.D., daughter of Emery and Lempy (Bantari) Boss. She graduated from Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Wash., and had many college-level accounting courses. She was president of Copper Financial Management and Accounting, Inc. in Bloomington. She loved to cook, especially Finnish and German dishes. She formerly enjoyed painting with oils.

She is survived by her loving family, her husband, Jerry Copper of Bloomington, whom she married Sept. 14, 1963, at the Naval Chapel in Bremerton, Wash.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd (Catherine) Copper of Brown County and Troy (Kristen) Copper of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Ashley Miller-Copper, Nicholas Copper, Bailee Robison-Copper and Chloee Robison-Copper; and a sister, Helen Alford of Hot Springs Village, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and a brother.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel. A private memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
