Katie D. (Wallace) Beauchamp, 57, Unionville

Katie D. (Wallace) Beauchamp, 57, Unionville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville.

Katie was born Sept. 3, 1956 in Dickerson County, Va., to the late Charlie and Mollie Wallace. She was a 1974 graduate of Haysi High School in Haysi, Va. Katie later married Michael Beauchamp Dec. 20, 1996 in Bloomington. He survives after 17 loving years.

Katie is survived by her husband; daughter, Michelle D. Beauchamp of Columbus; son, Shawn Allen Lucas of Elizabeth, Colo.; and three grandchildren, Aiden and Kailynn Lucas, both of Elizabeth, Colo. and Jordan M. Mathers of Columbus.

Katie was a supervisor of the housekeeping department at Brown County Health and Living Center during the 1980s. She was also a housewife and homemaker to her two children. She attended Bear Creek Church in Brown County. Katie loved dancing, golfing, drawing and enjoyed spending free time with her family.

Rev. Darrel Miller will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends can call from noon Saturday, Feb. 22 until service time at the funeral home.
