Eric Dean Miesen, 56, Nashville

Eric Dean Miesen, 56, of Nashville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014 at Columbus Regional Hospital.

He was born Oct.r 26, 1957 in El Paso, Texas, son of the late William Herbert Miesen, Jr. and Shirley Jane Miesen.

Eric enjoyed fishing, dirt track racing, car shows, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Eric is survived by daughter, Angela (Matt) Amis; two sons, Collin and William Miesen; three sisters, Lynne (Ron) Duscha, Lori (Randy) Ellis, and Lisa (Jim) Melton; and a granddaughter, Lauren Amis.

A celebration of life memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Charles Wright. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, FEb. 22 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, and the Salvation Army.
