LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION

BROWN COUNTY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on January 29, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Francis B. Moser and Dorothy G. Moser for a Special Exception to allow a public camp and travel trailer park.

The location of the property is 2248 State Road 46 East in Washington Township. Legal description of premises:

PARCEL NO. I:

A tract of land located in the Southwest quarter of Section 21, Township 9 North, Range 3 East, Brown  County, Indiana, and further described as follows: Beginning at an iron pin located 617.0 feet West of the Northeast corner of said quarter and running thence South 1 degree 09 minutes West 2136.9 feet to an iron pin; thence North 81 degrees 22 minutes West 388.2 feet to an iron pin; thence North 2135.0 feet to an iron pin; thence East 428.0 feet to the place of beginning, containing 19.89 acres, more or less.

PARCEL NO. II:

A Perpetual, Non-Exclusive Easement for ingress and egress over and along a 50-foot wide established roadway leading from State Road No. 46 to the above described real estate.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection at least 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
