Todd Robert Olmsted, 45, Nashville

Todd Robert Olmsted, 45, of Nashville, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 surrounded by his family.

Todd was born Feb. 2, 1968 to Bob & Karen (King) Olmsted, who both preceded him in death. He was a life-long resident of Brown County. He was owner and operator of C & O Auto Parts where salvaging and recycling was not just a job to him, but a way of life. Todd enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, 4 wheelin’ and riding bikes with his son, Cooper. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Tinker. His talents were limitless, from salvaging and reconstructing barns, carving wooden bowls and spoons, to being a sculptor of iron works and rock carving.

Todd’s family will receive visitors from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. His funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23 at the funeral home. Todd wished to be cremated and this will be fulfilled after the service.

Todd was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Missy (Favors) Olmsted for 23 years. Other survivors include his son, Cooper; sister, Kayla (Scott) Richardson; brother, Eric Olmsted; nieces and nephews, Marra (Tony) Cromer, Kelsey (James) Richardson, Evan Richardson, Brayden Olmsted and Abel Cromer; aunts, Judy Williamson and Carmen Altop; special cousins, Benita Fox, Beth Mulry, Brett, Bart and Brad Williamson and Denise Campbell.

Memorial contributions can be made to Cooper Olmsted Savings Account, c/o Peoples State Bank, P.O. Box 1321, Nashville, IN. 47448 or at any Peoples State Bank location.
