PETITIONERS LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FOR STAFFORD MAJOR SUBDIVISION

AREA PLAN COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that Stephen L. Smith on behalf of The Stafford Tree Farm, LLC has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for a primary approval of a subdivision, to wit:

Legal description of premises: STAFFORD SUBDIVISION Washington Township, Brown County, Indiana. A part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter and a part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 8 North, Range 2 East, Brown County, Indiana, and being more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at a concrete monument stamped "U.S." found at the southwest corner of Section 36, Township 9 North, Range 2 East; thence South 86 degrees 31 minutes 7 seconds East 1067.35 to a stone marked "S36" and also being the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes 03 seconds East 768.48 feet along the north line of said Section 1; thence SOUTH 21 degrees 41 minutes 20 seconds West 980.74 feet; thence South 90 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West 400.00 feet; thence North 0 degrees 22 minutes 31 seconds West 915.75 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 12.26 acres, more or less.

Applicant is requesting primary approval of the Stafford Subdivision, a proposed 4 lot major subdivision in Washington Township. The property is located at 468 Upper Schooner Road, Nashville, Indiana. The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.

The Commission will hold a public hearing on December 17, 2013 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
