Courtney James Miller, 35, Texas

Courtney James Miller, 35, of Texas, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas.

He is survived by his mother, Susie Adams (husband, Wilson) of Trafalgar; a sister, Michelle Lang (husband, Stephen); a daughter, Reanna Miller; a son, Storm Miller; and grandmother, Mary Williams.

Courtney was preceded in death by his father, Gary Miller.

Courtney spent his professional career as a skilled craftsman in the automotive collision industry.

He was a very loving and kind man, thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors but was foremost very proud of his children.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated  Nov. 25 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Nashville. The Rev. Bob Williams, Courtney’s uncle, presided. Visitation took place before the service Nov. 25 at the church. St. Agnes Women’s Guild hosted a luncheon immediately following the Mass.

Courtney’s cremated remains were interred at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Peru, next to his maternal grandfather, Robert L. Williams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the education fund of Reanna and Storm Miller and can be sent to Peoples State Bank, c/o Susie Adams, 4445 W. Pitcher Drive, Trafalgar, IN 46181.

Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old Highway 37, Bloomington, handled the arrangements. Online condolences can be sent to the family at allenfuneralhome.org.
