AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on August 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Elizabeth A. Rubel to allow a Home Occupation of skin care services

The location of the property is 1287 Old State Road 46 in Washington Township.

Legal description of premises: From the Northwest corner of the Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 20, Township 9, North, Range 3 East, Brown County, Indiana, go 262.2 feet East to the centerline of Old State Road No. 46; thence Southeasterly along the centerline of Old State Road No. 46, 182.9 feet, which is the point of beginning of this property survey and is a 2-inch road nail in the bituminous surface further witnessed by a painted iron pipe 17.5 feet South of the aforesaid road nail. Beginning at this road nail, go Southeasterly along the centerline of Old State Road No. 46, 23 6 feet; thence in a Southwesterly direction (approximately South 20 degrees West) 277 feet to a painted iron pipe; thence West 60 feet to a painted iron pipe; thence in a Northwesterly direction (North 21 degrees West) through the bottom of a gully 275 feet to a painted iron pipe in a round-wire fence; thence North 20 degrees East along said fence 121 feet to the point of beginning, which is the centerline of Old State Road No. 46, containing 1-1/4 acres, more or less

The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
