Susie "Road Runner" McCall Kendall Drake, 49, Edinburgh

Susie "Road Runner" McCall Kendall Drake, 49, Edinburgh, died at 11:20 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis.

She was born in Hartsville, Nov. 8, 1963, daughter of Ralph and Wanda McCall Stapleton, of Edinburgh. She married Richie Drake on Sept. 14, 1999, and he survives.

She is also survived by sons, Josh (Tabitha) Woodall of Edinburgh, Jason (Amy) and Daniel (Darnell) Woodall, both of Nashville; a daughter, Clara Woodall of Edinburgh; brothers, Samuel (Ginger) Wells of Edinburgh, and Daniel (Tanya) Stapleton of Columbia, Ky.; sisters, Sandra (Wally) Grant of Columbia, Ky., Misty (William) Lucas, Christina Sheckles and Ashley Stapleton, all of Edinburgh; and eight grandchildren.

She was a member of Taylorsville Baptist Church and the National Rifle Association. She was a truck driver for Mount Trucking and Hoosier Air Transport. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, flowers and truck driving.

Funeral services were to be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Taylorsville Baptist Church, 9118 S. Main St., Taylorsville, with the Rev. Tom Collett officiating. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Calling was to be Monday and from noon until service time Tuesday at the church.

Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
