William Maze, 40, Greensburg

William E. Maze, 40, Greensburg, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at 11:06 p.m. at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room in Greensburg.

He was born Dec. 21, 1972, in Indianapolis, the son of James E. Maze and Sandra K. (Myers) Maze Harden. He was raised in Brown County and has been a resident of Decatur County since 1986.

He was employed at New Point Stone Company. He was a member of the Greensburg Community Church. He enjoyed shooting guns, mushroom hunting and spending time with his sons.

Survivors include his mother, Sandra K. (Jim) Harden of Westport; his sons, Keaton Andrew Maze and Ashton Christopher Maze, both of Greensburg; his sister, Christa (Rick) Wills of Westport; and his brother, Darin (Denise Kelp) Maze of Nashville.

He was preceded in death by his father; his son, William Edward Maze; and his sister, Lorie Ann Maze.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 2 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport. Burial will follow in the Union Baptist Cemetery. A time of visitation will be conducted from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 1 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made through the funeral home to the Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
