Lucille P. Schrock, 74, Franklin

Lucille P. Schrock, 74, Franklin, passed away April 23, 2013 in Indianapolis. She was born in Brown County July 20, 1938, daughter of Clinton and Myrtle (Bridgewater) Smith.

She was employed at the Seasons Lodge & Conference Center in housekeeping for 35 years. Lucille was a member of the Franklin Active Adult Center, she was of Christian faith, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, collecting roosters, making jewelry, outings with her daughters, and attending her grandchildren’s functions.

Survivors include seven daughters, Lynn (Andy) Haddix of New Palestine, Shirley (Robert) Stogsdill of Indianapolis, Thelma (Allan) Jones of Ellettsville, Betty Lou (Jack) Baugh of Bloomington, Patricia (Donnie) Gorbett of Columbus, Susie (Larry) Link of Morgantown, Vickie (Jack) Abbott of Franklin; 31 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Peggy (Leslie) McNear of Cloverdale.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick Schrock; her companion, Bill Tulley; sister, Anna May Smith; four brothers, Wilbur, Clinton, Jr., Robert and Leo; two grandsons, Joseph Gilles and Joshua Caleb Baugh; and several nephews and nieces.

A funeral service will be conducted at noon Saturday, April 27, at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Christiansburg Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Friday, April 26 from 4-8 p.m.
