Paul “Kent” Hoffman, 64, Bloomington

Paul “Kent” Hoffman, 64, Bloomington, passed away at his residence Thursday, April 18, 2013. He was born in Concord, Mass., Dec. 20, 1948, to Paul and Madeline (Blakesley) Hoffman.

Kent graduated from Brown County High School in 1967 and attended Indiana University in Bloomington. He worked as district manager for 30 years for Full-O-Pep Appliance /American Rental. He was a member of Zionshill Baptist Church, coached little league baseball in Washington Township, and was a member of Kady Lynn Dance Friends.

Surviving family members include his wife, Peggy (Weddle) Hoffman; sons, Brian and his wife, Tae of Bedford, Kyle and his wife, Casey of McAllen, Texas; grandson, Riley Kent Hoffman; brother, Jeff Hoffman of Florida; and in-laws, Gene and Joan Weddle of Bloomington.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bruce Hoffman; and grandson, Jensen Riley Hoffman.

Services were to be  at 2 p.m. Monday, April 22 at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Road 37, Bloomington, with visitation Sunday, April 21, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Payne Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
