Patrick Allan Tolan, 51, Nashville

Patrick Allan Tolan, 51, Nashville, died Thursday at his residence.

Born Nov. 7, 1961 in Adrian, Mich., he was son of Robert W. Tolan, Sr. and Margaret (Petter) Tolan. He earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in religious studies and political science. He served as a cook at Indiana Memorial Stadium where he prepared meals for IU athletes. He also was a realtor with Prudential Realty in Bloomington. He was an excellent carpenter and very much loved his wife, Adrienne as well as his three dogs, Samson, Katie and Abby.

He is survived by his wife, Adrienne (O’Malley) Tolan of Nashville; his mother, Margaret Tolan Cardwell of Kokomo; his father and step-mother, Robert and Stephanie Tolan of Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers, Robert W. (Judy) Tolan Jr. of West Trenton, N.J., Andrew (Diane) Tolan of Bradenton, Fla. and R.J. (Lisa) Tolan of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and three nephews, Zachary, Maxwell and Charles Tolan. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Ralph Lewis Cardwell.

A memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home with Earl Piper officiating. Friends can visit on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
