Vearl A. Krebbs, 84, Brown County

Vearl A. Krebbs, 84, Brown County, passed from this life at 10:38 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Brown County Health & Living Community.

Mrs. Krebbs was a homemaker and had worked at Arvin Industries and Stanley Home Products. She was a member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church where she was a member of various ladies organizations.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date. Visitation is not planned at this time. Burial will be at Christiansburg Cemetery in Brown County.

Memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, cards are available at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home in Columbus.

Born in Brown County May 26, 1928, Mrs. Krebbs was daughter of John and Laura Nickerson Mobley. She married Dalton Krebbs Nov. 26, 1947. He preceded her in death May 10, 2005.

Mrs. Krebbs is survived by children, Ray (Robin) Krebbs of Nashville and Karen Rouse of Columbus; grandchildren, Doug (Melanie) Krebbs, Lori (Gary) Lucas, Fred (Melissa) Rouse, Sandy (Justin) Fleener, Kellie (Duwayne) Shanafelt, and Amanda and Beth Beck; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Greenlee of North Carolina.

Mrs. Krebbs was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Larry Krebbs; and a grandson, Robbie Krebbs.
