Brown County Commissioners public hearing re: Courthouse expansion/renovation

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF

THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF BROWN COUNTY, INDIANA

Notice is hereby given by the undersigned that the Board of Commissioners of Brown County, Indiana (the "Board") will, at its meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 6:00 p.m., local time, in the Salmon Room on the second floor of the Brown County Office Building, located at 201 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana, conduct a public hearing regarding, and then consider the adoption of a resolution making a preliminary determiniation for Brown County, Indiana (the "County") to enter into a proposed lease between a nonprofit building corporation (the "Building Corporation"), as lessor, and the County, as lessee, to finance all or a portion of the construction, installation and equipping of an expansion and renovation of the Brown County Courthouse, located at 20 East Main Street, Nashville, Indiana.  The lease will also finance all or a portion of the expenses incurred in connection with or on account of the issuance of bonds by the Building Corporation.  The County's lease payments under such lease will be payable from ad valorem property taxes collected by the County on all taxable property within the geographical boundaries of the County.  At the hearing, the Board will hear any objections to and support for the proposed project and the lease from the general public.
