Board of Zoning Appeals Public Hearing Re: Special Exception for: Mike Robertson, 2277 State Road West, to allow outside concerts

APPLICANT'S LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

SPECIAL EXCEPTION AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that Mike Robertson, Petitioner, has filed with the Board of Zoning Appeals of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for variation in the regulations of the Zoning Ordinance, to wit:

Legal description of the premises: A part of the South Half of the Northeast quarter of Section 3, Township 8 North, Range 2 East described as follows:

Beginning 576 feet North and 406.3 feet West of the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of said Northeast quarter; thence North 23 degrees 17 minutes West 292.1 feet; thence North 03 degrees 37 minutes East 135 feet; thence Northeasterly with the South right-of-way of State Road 46 1057.9 feet; thence South 16 degrees 28 minutes East 347.8 feet; thence Southwesterly with the center of Schnooer Creek 1086.6 feet to the beginning, containing 9.32 acres, more of less.

Applicant is requesting a Special Exception to allow outside concerts.  The property is located at 2277 State Road West in Washington Township.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana, until two days prior to the hearing date.

A public hearing will be held by the Board on April 2, 2013, during a meeting commencing at 7:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the application.  This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this application by order of the Area Board of Zoning Appeals.  Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered.  The hearing may be continued from time to time.
