Bonnie Marie Games Thompson, 83, Bloomington, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn E. Thompson, in 2010; her son, Stephen Thompson; her grandson, M. Jordan Thompson; her parents, Donald and Ruth (Cassity) Games; her brother, Paul Games; and her sisters, Sally Lacy and Elsie Haworth.

Born Aug. 16, 1929, she is survived by her son, David Thompson of Bloomington; her daughter, Kara (Thompson) Higginbotham of Virginia; her grandson, Joseph Jordan of Nashville; brothers, Kenneth Games of Bainbridge, Charles Games of Plainfield, Leroy Games of Rockville; sisters, Linda Stark and Pam Robbins of Crawfordsville, and Marilene Frederick of Jamestown; and many nieces and nephews.

Bonnie retired from AT&T after 35 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and was a volunteer at Bloomington Hospital.

Services were to be conducted at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville. Visitation took place Monday, March 11; the funeral was to be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, with interment following at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
