She especially enjoyed helping with the festival of Trees and Lights. She was a longtime Muncie resident before moving to Nashville to be closer to her children and their families. While in Brown County, she was active in the Retired Teachers Association, Brown County Historical Society and several other community organizations.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter, Adeana (Paul) Cauble Colvin; and son, Douglas (Julie) Cauble; sister, Jeanne Root Miller, four grandsons, Paul and Brian Colvin, and Ryan and Joshua Cauble; four great-granddaughters; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Carl Cauble and Donald Main; aunt, Sylva Root Enyeart; and her sister, Donna Root Seip.

At Marilyn’s request there will be no funeral; however, a celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
