Joseph A. Satter, 59, Morgantown, passed on Thursday, Feb. 14 at Wesley Health Care Center in Auburn.
Joe was born on Sept. 23, 1953 in Franklin to William L. and Frieda Faye (McLary) Satter.
He was a 1973 graduate of Indian Creek High School and went on to serve with the U.S. Army. Joe married Lynette Fowler on Sept. 26, 1997 in Nashville. She lovingly survives.
Also surviving are his daughters, Michelle Fleener and Amy Satter, both of Trafalgar, and Robin Smith of Morgantown. He will be remembered by his sister, Sherrie Bud of Greenwood; two brothers, Tony Satter of California and Gary (Linda) Satter of Brown County; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Joe was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Parsons.
Joe worked as a roofer for Bud Baily Construction in Morgantown. He was a fan of baseball and enjoyed fishing, hunting and socializing with his family and friends.
The Rev. Matt Satter conducted a funeral service Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center.
Friends called before the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
