Notice is hereby given that Cathi A. Owings has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana an application for a replat of two lots in Owings Minor Plat. 

Legal description of premises:  EXHIBIT A - LEGAL DESCRIPTION

A part of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter, and a part of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 11,

Township 10 North, Range 2 East, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows:

Beginning 693 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter, thence West 132 feet; thence South 330 feet; thence East 132 feet; thence North 50 degrees 00 minutes East 400 feet; thence Northwesterly with the center of the County Road 400 feet to the West line of said quarter quarter section; thence South to the beginning, containing 2.50 acres, more or less.

(Designated as Tract No. I on Owings Minor Plat as recorded June 13, 1985 in Minor Plat Book No. 2, page 25, in the office of the

Recorder of Brown County, Indiana.)

ALSO, a part of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 11, Township 10 North, Range 2 East, Brown County, Indiana, described as follows:

Beginning 1023 feet South of the Northwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence North 50 degrees 00 minutes East 400 feet; thence Southerly with the County Road 700 feet to the South line of said quarter quarter section; thence West 500 feet to the Southwest corner of said quarter quarter section; thence North 297 feet to the beginning, containing 3.50 acres, more or less. (Designated as Tract No. 2 on Owings Minor Plat as recorded June 13, 1985 in Minor Plat Book No. 2, page 25, in the office of the Recorder of Brown County, Indiana.)

The property is located at 8812 Old Haggard Road in Jackson Township.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.

The Commission will hold a public hearing on February 26, 2013 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time. The meeting will be held in the second floor meeting room of the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.
