Brenda G. (Copeland) Dillman, 63, passed away peacefully at her residence in the hills of northern Brown County Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.
She was born in Evansville July 6, 1949, to Aaron and Pauline (Cunningham) Copeland. Brenda was a 1967 graduate of Benjamin Bosse High School in Evansville. She married Roy F. Dillman Feb. 14, 1998, in Tavernier, Fla. He lovingly survives. Also surviving is her good friend and caregiver, Dottie Price of Brown County.
Brenda retired in 1998 as a delivery driver for the Indianapolis Star & News after 21 years of service. She was a member of the Brown County Community Church; Brown County Historical Society; Brown County Hopeful Planters Garden Club; and the Southern Indiana Daylily, Hosta, Daffodil & Iris Society of Bloomington. Brenda enjoyed working with flowers and crafts. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed reading her Bible and John Grisham novels.
The Rev. Ken Smith will conduct a funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Brown County Community Church, 2370 Main Street in Helmsburg. Friends can call from 4 p.m. until service time Thursday at the church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
