Grady F. Cox, 59, Nashville

Grady F. Cox, 59, of Nashville, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Grady was born June 14, 1953, to the late Norvin G. and Mary Josephine Cox. He married Denise Wilson June 14, 1980. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Grady was a member of Westside Community Church and was an active member of Journey Through Faith. He enjoyed fishing, collecting coins and spending time with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Westside Community Church with Pastor Dennis W. Aud officiating. Family and friends can call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike and from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

In keeping with Grady's wishes, cremation is planned.

Grady is survived by his wife, Denise Cox; children, Garrett Cox of Nashville, Laura (Logan) Adams of Evansville, Brian (Brooke) Cox of Coatesville and Gregory (Glenda) Cox of Callender, Iowa; and grandchildren, Akasha and Haley Cox both of Callender, Iowa, Henry and Josie Cox both of Coatesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Jennifer Cox.
