NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF
THE TOWN OF NASHVILLE

REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

The Town of Nashville Redevelopment Commission (the “Commission”), previously has established the Nashville Central Economic Development Area (the “Economic Development Area”) pursuant to Section 41 of Indiana Code 36-7-14 (the “Act”), approved an economic development plan for the Economic Development Area (the “Plan”) and designated the entire Economic Development Area as an allocation area under Section 39 of the Act (the “Allocation Area”).  Notice is hereby given that at its December 2012 meeting the Commission adopted a resolution (the “Amending Resolution”) that (i) expanded the Area to include certain additional property in the Town of Nashville (the “Expansion Area”), (ii) designated the entire Expansion Area as part of the Allocation Area, and (iii) amended the Plan in connection with the expansion (the “Plan Amendment”).  The Brown County Area Plan Commission and the Town Council of the Town of Nashville, Indiana subsequently approved the Amending Resolution and the Plan Amendment. A general description of the Expansion Area is included in the Amending Resolution.

Notice is hereby given that the Commission will conduct a public hearing on February 6, 2013, at 6:00 p.m., (local time), at the Town Hall of Nashville, located at 200 Commercial Street, Nashville, Indiana, to receive and hear remonstrances and objections from all persons interested in or affected by the proceedings pertaining to the proposed projects set forth in the Plan Amendment or other actions to be taken under the Amending Resolution.  Following the public hearing, the Commission will determine the public utility and benefit of the proposed projects set forth in the Plan Amendment and other actions to be taken under the Amending Resolution.

The Amending Resolution and the Plan Amendment can be inspected during normal business hours at the office of the Department, located at the Town Hall of Nashville, 200 Commercial Street, Nashville, Indiana 47448.
