Arvilla J. Kibler, 87, of Four Seasons Retirement Center in Columbus, died at 1:55 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Four Seasons.
Mrs. Kibler was a homemaker and a member of Spearsville Church of Christ, Trafalgar, and Clifford Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed spending time with her family, church, canning, sewing, gardening and Ladies Only.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday Jan. 20 at Spearsville Church of Christ with the Rev. Mike Goodwin officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday Jan. 19 at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh and at the church from 1 p.m. until service time Sunday. Burial will be at Spearsville Church of Christ Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Spearsville Church of Christ.
Born in Brown County Aug. 18, 1925, Mrs. Kibler was the daughter of John Wesley Dine and Elva Mae Hunt Dine. She married Charles A. Kibler Oct. 23, 1952. He preceded her in death Nov. 7, 2003.
Survivors include a son, Philip C. (Heather) Kibler of Indianapolis; a daughter-in-law, Susan Kibler of Columbus; grandchildren, Melinda Baker, Alan Kibler, Brittany Morrow and Michael Kibler; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Walter, Herman, Auther and Morris Dine; and sisters, Mary Richhart, Maude Richhart, Edith Bailey and Thelma Eby.
