Victor
J. Bartlett, 87, passed away at Brown County Health and Living in Nashville
on Dec. 29, 2012. He was born June 20, 1925, in Advance, to the late Clee and
Onita Gregory Bartlett.
Victor
retired from the railroad after 42 years of service working as a gandy
dancer. He enjoyed fishing and eating at Brownie’s in Bean Blossom.
He
leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Ann Bradley Bartlett;
son, Randy (wife, Susie) Bartlett; and daughter, Vicki (husband, Jerry) Smith,
all of Nashville. Also surviving are five grandchildren and 11
great-grandchildren.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and two infant daughters.
Friends can call Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, from 4-8 p.m. at Bond-Mitchell
Funeral Home, 1682 St. Rd. 135 North, Nashville. The funeral
service will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the
funeral home, with Reverend Andrea Smith officiating. Interment will be
in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
