Eric S. Bailey, 29, Morgantown

Eric S. Bailey, 29, passed away Thursday morning, Dec. 13, 2012, while visiting his parents in Ruskin, Fla. He was a resident of Morgantown in Northern Brown County.
Eric was born in Franklin April 26, 1983 to Dwayne and Anna L. (Baker) Bailey Sr., who both survive in Ruskin. Also surviving him are his sister, Amber (Bill Bryant) Bailey of Brown County; and his brother, Dwayne Bailey Jr. of Martinsville. He will be remembered by his two nieces, Autumn Bryant and Kelsey Goodroad; and three nephews, Billy and Mason Bryant and Craegan Bailey.
Eric had worked at the Martinsville Wal-Mart in the deli/bakery department, and as a cook at the Martinsville Burger King and Artist Colony Inn restaurant in Nashville. He had a passion for working and experimenting in the kitchen for his family to enjoy.
Eric loved spending time with his family and especially his pit bull, “Bella.” He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, wrestling and the television show “Burn Notice.”


The Rev. Darrel Miller will conduct a funeral service Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends can call from 5 p.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
