Angela Dawn Hernandez, 33, North Vernon

Angela Dawn Hernandez, 33, of North Vernon, died at midnight Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Angela was born on July 16, 1979 in Seymour, daughter of the late Jackie L. and Ibelle M. Petro Cockerham. She worked as a certified nurse’s aide for Heritage House in Seymour, and also worked for Home Health Care. She attended Jennings County High School. Angela enjoyed sewing, crocheting, singing, dancing, listening to music, reading, donating time at nursing home, and family time.  

She is survived by children, Preston Hernandez and Gabriella Cockerham, both of North Vernon; two brothers, Sean Cockerham and Gerald (Jessica) Loyd, both of North Vernon; and two sisters, Joyce (Tommy) Lee of North Vernon and Linda (Ben) Williams of Lexington, S.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at noon Wednesday Dec. 12, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Friends can call Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Henderson Cemetery in Gnaw Bone.

Memorial contributions can be made through Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
