Mary A. Davis, 93, Bloomington, died Saturday morning Dec.1, at Golden Living Center in Bloomington. Born Nov. 5, 1919, in Brown County, she was the daughter of John S. and Bertha (Griffin) Hyde. She was a homemaker and had attended Free Methodist Church in Bloomington.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Bond; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lisa Davis; a brother, Rex (Zella) Hyde; and a sister, Wilma Watson, all of Bloomington; also two grandchildren, Charles and Nelson Davis, both of Washington state; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen T. Davis, on Sept. 12, 2004; two daughters in infancy; three brothers; three sisters; and her son-in-law, Bill Bond.

The funeral service was Tuesday Dec. 4 at Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene and Harrell Chapel, with Rev. Frank Helton officiating. Burial followed in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends visited at the funeral home Tuesday before the service.

The family suggests contributions be given to the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana; 50 East 91st Street, Suite 100; Indianapolis, IN 46240 in Mrs. Davis’ memory.
