Jamie Shawn Simpson, 31, Nineveh

Jamie Shawn Simpson, 31, Nineveh, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.

He was a self-employed mechanic.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Whosoever Will Community Church, 623 S. Eisenhower Drive, Edinburgh, with the Rev. Lewis Burton officiating. Calling will be at the church from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in  Edinburgh.

Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.

Born in Columbus Dec. 27, 1980, Mr. Simpson was the son of Lyndon H. Simpson and Kimberly S. Mullis Simpson. They survive in Nineveh.

Other survivors include a son, Garrett Simpson of Greenfield; a daughter, Taylor Simpson of Princes Lakes; a grandmother, Carol Simpson of Edinburgh; grandfathers, Luther Simpson of Columbus and Thomas Mullis of Richmond, Ky.; brothers, Jeremy Shane (Gwen) Simpson of Taylorsville and Lucas Shane (Rosana) Simpson of Nineveh; and sisters, Lindsay Marie (Derick) Burton and Danelle Brooke Simpson, both of Edinburgh.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Marva Sue Mullis.
