Carmen (Ferguson) Roberts, 57, Morgantown

Carmen (Ferguson) Roberts, 57, Morgantown, passed away Friday afternoon, Nov. 23, 2012, at Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Indianapolis.

Carmen was born Aug. 15, 1955, in Indianapolis to Paul I. and Pauline (Camerillo) Ferguson. She married David A. Roberts May 24, 1975, at Cottonwood Christian Church in Brown County.

Carmen was a loving wife and homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was known for her great cooking and baking and love of board games. Carmen was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and enjoyed watching NASCAR. She also enjoyed working puzzles, quilting and crocheting. Carmen loved to collect miniature kerosene lanterns and ceramic chickens.

Survivors include her mother, Pauline Ferguson of Morgantown; husband, David A. Roberts of Morgantown; two daughters, Alicia D. and Courtney E. Roberts, both of Morgantown; and a son, Jack P. Roberts of Bedford. She will be remembered by her grandson, Michael A. Roberts of Morgantown; seven sisters, Angela Tatum of Bloomington, Patricia First of Plainfield, Mary Reed of Morgantown, Diana Law of Portland, Cathy Couch of Peoga, Paula Lory of Morgantown and Annette Hicks of Franklin; and four brothers, Mike, Timothy and Kenny Ferguson, all of Morgantown and Fred Ferguson of Trafalgar.

She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Paul Ferguson.

Carmen’s wishes were to be cremated with a private family memorial service. Funeral services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
