Barbara Joann Wenger Burbridge, 80, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at Kindred Health Care Center.

Born in Brown County Jan. 14, 1932, Mrs. Burbridge was the daughter of Clerance and Ruth Isley Wenger. She married Charles M. Burbridge Dec. 22, 1948, who preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2005. Also preceding her in death were a son, Joe Mitchel Burbridge; a daughter, Joyce Marie Dixon; brothers, John and Clifton Wenger; sisters, Lois and Marion Wenger; and her parents.

Mrs. Burbridge retired from Dolly Madison and loved being with her family, doing puzzles and going to flea markets. She was an avid collector of oil lamps.

Survivors include sons, David (Sue) Burbridge of Greensburg and Darrell (Carolyn) Burbridge of Hope; a daughter, Ruth Burbridge Crouch of Columbus; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carlee Wenger of Missouri.

The funeral will be Wednesday Nov. 21 at 1 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Randy McCarty. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
