Zona Louise Sentman, 91, Nashville

Zona Louise Sentman, 91, of Nashville and formerly of Bell Trace Senior Living Community in Bloomington for six years, died Oct. 26, 2012, at Brown County Health & Living Community.

She was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Benton County, daughter of Herman and Julia (Mayfield) Hausz. She was a homemaker and also formerly worked at P.R. Mallory Company in Elwood and Farnsworth Radio Company in Marion. She married George R. Sentman on Oct. 5, 1946, and they were longtime residents of Elwood. Zona formerly attended the Nazarene Church in Elwood where she was the church pianist, and more recently attended Main Street Wesleyan Church in Elwood. Zona enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, crafts and games.

Zona’s family includes four children, Connie (Jim) Osborn of Ft. Worth, Texas, Ron (Pam) and Jerry Sentman, both of Indianapolis, and Marsha (Calvin) Hite of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Julie (Darrel) Cook, Kimberly (Ed) Nieves, Melissa Osborn, Andrew and Bethany Hite; two great-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter expected in 2013; a nephew; and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 61 years (died March 3, 2008) George R. Sentman; and sister, Bernetta Wilson.

Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 29, at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Dr. Norman G. Wilson officiating. Burial was in Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday Oct. 28, at the funeral home.
