Mary Frances Moore, 78, Brownstown

Mary Frances Moore, 78, of Brownstown, died at 4:37 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Mary spent most of her life in Brown and Bartholomew counties. In later years, she moved to Seymour and was currently living at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown. A homemaker, Mary loved working in the yard and taking care of her flowers. She also loved her dogs and cats.

A funeral was conducted Saturday Oct. 27 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home, Columbus, with Pastor Michael Hogg officiating. Family and friends called before the service Saturday at the funeral home. Burial was at Daugherty Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.

Born in Jackson County May 4, 1934, Mary was the daughter of Dean and Geneva Carmichael Moore.

Survivors include her aunt and uncle, Margaret and Russell Carmichael of Freetown; her caregivers in her last days, Gary and Peggy Carmichael of Seymour; and several other cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
