Teresa L. (Koontz) Martin, 56, of Bloomington, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at IU Health Hospice House.

Born July 23, 1956, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Mary Ann (Pardue) Koontz.

Teresa was a floral designer at Marsh on Kinser Pike for several years, and she worked as a home health care provider.

She enjoyed crafts, mushroom hunting, fishing and being outdoors in general.

Survivors include her husband, Larry J. Martin of Bloomington; a son, Michael J. Koontz (Katie) of Bloomington; her parents, Charles E. and Mary Ann Koontz of Dothan, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Lila D. Johnson (Bobby) of Bloomington, Lisa Clark Mosier of Brown County; a sister, Charlene Stillions (Scott) of Dothan, Ala.; grandchildren, Ryan Johnson, Kyle and Michael Clark, Lindsay, Tyler and Brooke Koontz; and a nephew, Keith Koontz (Beth) and their daughter, Lillian of Millers Creek, N.C.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Millie Koontz.

Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 21, at the funeral chapel of Powell and Deckard in Bloomington.

Services were conducted Monday, Oct. 22, at the funeral chapel with Pastor Les Rovenstine officiating.

Burial followed at Duncan Cemetery in Brown County.
